Hi Mom,

Catching up again on falling behind with the blog.

This last week was difficult. Not only did I give two exams Monday, but I took a final on Tuesday night for which I had been studying for with every free moment.

Then Wednesday, I had to finish grades and work plus hold office hours.

On Thursday, I had tutoring, a lunch, plus work, and then therapy followed by driving to Grand Rapids to see Star Wars: Rogue One from 7-9:15 and then back home to get to bed because Friday (yesterday by this blog entry's date) I had to get up early, take Satchel to the vet, go say goodbye to Dad, have lunch with a friend, meet with a prof, and run a bunch of errands.

No wonder I was so tired and yet I drank so much coffee (three times normal plus some espresso) that I had trouble sleeping last night, which is why -- since I am posting from the future -- Hey Mom #527 is a bunch of content re-posted since I was up very late reading about the pineal gland and meditation. I want to be healthier.

I think this is a great photo of us, but this one really hits home because I wish I had talked about it with you before you passed away.

NOTE on time: When I post late, I had been posting at 7:10 a.m. because Google is on Pacific Time, and so this is really 10:10 EDT. However, it still shows up on the blog in Pacific time. So, I am going to start posting at 10:10 a.m. Pacific time, intending this to be 10:10 Eastern time. I know this only matters to me, and to you, Mom. But I am not going back and changing all the 7:10 a.m. times. But I will run this note for a while. Mom, you know that I am posting at 10:10 a.m. often because this is the time of your death.
