A Sense of Doubt blog post #3020 - NEVER GIVE UP - and two other messages - THAT ONE THING for 2305.26

I had another post planned for today. 

It was a post about teaching composition and rhetoric.

But I received some bad news today, and I really do not currently give a fuck about rhetoric, composition, pedagogy: in other words, my job.

I am sure this attitude will not last.

I went to my Sense of Doubt folder to find an image, maybe something to do with "Zero Fucks to Give."

However, I just do not have the heart to make such a thing the top image and push that image to social media.

And then I found this banner, a quote from the Dalai Lama, a better message, one that is more in line with who I am.

Then again, these next two images are how I feel today.

Feeling some anger.

SOME anger.

Justified.

Not giving up.

I will never give up.

But I need some time before I am going to give a fuck again.

And so these...

- New note - On 1807.06, I ceased daily transmission of my Hey Mom feature after three years of daily conversations. I plan to continue Hey Mom posts at least twice per week but will continue to post the days since ("Days Ago") count on my blog each day. The blog entry numbering in the title has changed to reflect total Sense of Doubt posts since I began the blog on 0705.04, which include Hey Mom posts, Daily Bowie posts, and Sense of Doubt posts. Hey Mom posts will still be numbered sequentially. New Hey Mom posts will use the same format as all the other Hey Mom posts; all other posts will feature this format seen here.
