A Sense of Doubt blog post #3354 - DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE - Easter Eggs Galore!

A Sense of Doubt blog post #3354 - DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE - Easter Eggs Galore!

LOL! Liefeld's - Just Feet!

Anyone who knows a lot about comics will get that Easter Egg as seen in the still above.

If you don't get it, Google it or even better ask at your local comic shop.

I am not a huge Deadpool fan, but I have been coming around. The movies have been GREAT. I do like Ryan Reynolds a lot and, of course, Morena Baccarin (for many reasons but mostly Firefly).

The trailer is really fun. And though this one is new and "official," the one that aired during the Super Bowl was the only commercial I hear about from students the next day.

Many more Easter Eggs in the trailer.

Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE featuring Cassandra Nova as the villain, which may get people to read the fantastic Grant Morrison and Frank Quitley X-Men comics. In fact, I may need to get the collected editions at some point soon-ish, when I am not in a book buying freeze.

Just this share today, but it's worth a look if you love comics, X-Men, Wolverine, and/or Deadpool.

Thanks for tuning in.

Latest DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE trailer chock full of easter eggs and cameos

Ryan Reynolds is still "Marvel Jesus"

After debuting the first trailer for the much hyped Deadpool & Wolverine trailer last February during the Super Bowl, today Marvel Studios has released a new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer. Check it out below:

DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE OFFICIAL TRAILER

Set to the tune of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” Ryan Reynolds is back as everyone’s favorite Merc with a Mouth and he’s bringing Hugh Jackman along for the ride. In fact, the trailer  features our best look yet at Jackman in the comic accurate Wolverine costume. While he don’t seem him in the iconic mask in the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, you gotta assume they don’t want to give away everything before the film’s release.

We also get our best look yet at the films villain, Cassandra Nova portrayed by Emma Corrin. Debuting in Grant Morrison’s acclaimed run of New X-Men in the early aughts, Cassandra Nova is Professor Xavier’s twin sister with vast psychic abilities which include telepathy and telekinesis.

The film is already guaranteed to be chock full of easter eggs and cameos. In fact, in this latest Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, if you look closely you can spot Lady Deathstrike and Azazel. Talk about a deep cut.

Check out official images below.

Today, Marvel Studios debuted a brand-new trailer and two new posters for its highly anticipated feature film Deadpool & Wolverine.

- New note - On 1807.06, I ceased daily transmission of my Hey Mom feature after three years of daily conversations. I plan to continue Hey Mom posts at least twice per week but will continue to post the days since ("Days Ago") count on my blog each day. The blog entry numbering in the title has changed to reflect total Sense of Doubt posts since I began the blog on 0705.04, which include Hey Mom posts, Daily Bowie posts, and Sense of Doubt posts. Hey Mom posts will still be numbered sequentially. New Hey Mom posts will use the same format as all the other Hey Mom posts; all other posts will feature this format seen here.
