Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #590 - Cubs Win Fall Classic: a masterpiece - ESPN
So, Baseball, spring training is underway again, and I am once again thinking about Baseball after a few months of not focusing on it intently.
I sort of take off some time and stay away from Baseball to make the start of the next season all that more special.
However, this year, I left my ESPN link set to Baseball. So, each morning when I check box scores (NBA right now and assorted college), I see Baseball news. It's kept me in the loop.
But now I am going to start gearing up for Fantasy season and actual Baseball season.
It's time to buy my ticket for opening day for the Detroit Tigers, which is my birthday present from my wife who hates sports, so you know, that's special, then, right, Mom?
I know I made you watch a lot of sports in the last 15 years of your life, Mom. I think about that a lot when I watch sports. But I know you liked some of it, too. You did.
And I am SO GEARED for the Chicago Cubs as well as the Tigers....
It's going to be a good season.
Early today with this one so no synch to the time of your death today. I have to go work, so, here it is. I have been saving this re-post for a while.
Masterpiece Fall Classic: Inside the greatest game ever

NOTE on time: When I post late, I had been posting at 7:10 a.m. because Google is on Pacific Time, and so this is really 10:10 EDT. However, it still shows up on the blog in Pacific time. So, I am going to start posting at 10:10 a.m. Pacific time, intending this to be 10:10 Eastern time. I know this only matters to me, and to you, Mom. But I am not going back and changing all the 7:10 a.m. times. But I will run this note for a while. Mom, you know that I am posting at 10:10 a.m. often because this is the time of your death.
