The Daily Bowie #53 - "Miracle Goodnight"
So, I have decided that the Daily Bowie is not going to be daily anymore. This had been scheduled to be the entry for Sunday March 13th, but as I type these words, it's Thursday morning March 17th (Happy St. Patrick's Day), which means that if I am to stay daily, I would post this entry and another four (counting today's) to be caught up.
I have been ill. Well, I am still somewhat ill. So, while I was recuperating it occurred to me that the only one who cares about seeing a Daily Bowie daily is me. Besides, I vowed to myself, and to my Mom (Hi Mom) that I would do a daily Hey Mom entry, skipping no days, for a year. AND THEN, I was insane enough to think I had time to do daily Bowie entries, too???? Clearly, I have been infected much longer than the last three days.
And so, now, the Daily Bowie will no longer be daily, but I am going to try. If I skip days, then they are skipped. I will post when I can. However, I am going to keep the name. It's somewhat catchy, and I have been trying to get the hash tag #TheDailyBowie to catch on in the Twitter universe, and so it stays. But The Daily Bowie will now be the Daily Bowie that is not Daily.
This is a good song to announce the change to The Daily Bowie.

NOTE ON WHY THE DAILY BOWIE IS NO LONGER DAILY: For 53 days, I completed daily Bowie posts. My schedule is too demanding to make a post every day, so this will now be a feature that is called The Daily Bowie, but it will not be daily. I will post as I can. I will post often. But if I miss a day, I will skip it. Otherwise, I get in the position of making five Bowie posts all in one day, and that's a lot of Bowie for people to swallow all at once... (yeah, leaving that badly phrased, innuendo packed statement. I bet Bowie would have laughed at it).
