A Sense of Doubt blog post #2668 - "Even an Android Can Cry" THE VISION - THAT ONE THING for 2206.08

A Sense of Doubt blog post #2668 - "Even an Android Can Cry" THE VISION - THAT ONE THING for 2206.08

This seems like a good image for right now.

It's the very spirit of what I always wanted to do with the THAT ONE THING feature, but really my conception of blogging starting with my T-Shirts blog: just a picture and some words.

The tearful making things are too many to list. Of course, there's the recent events, like the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas or the grocery store massacre in Buffalo, NY.

There's the state of our planet with "great" (SARCASM ALERT) news everyday about the state of nature, such as learning microplastics are now in fresh, falling snow or  how an ingredient in ROUNDUP harms wild bee colonies. We are not going to ADAPT our way out of the climate crisis. Heat domes create saunas of prisons with no exit. Soon, that will be our daily life every where in the world.

The war in Ukraine continues with human rights violations galore. And there's even more shit show works in America, from abortion to gun violence to hypocrisy of elected officials and outright hatred of those brainwashed by a fear-mongering media corporation with no principles.

So much to cry about.

And so if, even an android, supposedly an unfeeling being who is not really "human" can cry, then what's wrong with some HUMANS who seem to totally lack any compassion or empathy?

This is THAT ONE THING for Wednesday June 8th.

Thanks for tuning in.

Blog Vacation Two 2022 - Vacation II Post #104
I took a "Blog Vacation" in 2021 from August 31st to October 14th. I did not stop posting daily; I just put the blog in a low power rotation and mostly kept it off social media. Like that vacation, for this second blog vacation now in 2022, I am alternating between reprints, shares with little to no commentary, and THAT ONE THING, which is an image from the folder with a few thoughts scribbled along with it. I am alternating these three modes as long as the vacation lasts (not sure how long), pre-publishing the posts, and not always pushing them to social media.

Here's the collected Blog Vacation I from 2021:

- New note - On 1807.06, I ceased daily transmission of my Hey Mom feature after three years of daily conversations. I plan to continue Hey Mom posts at least twice per week but will continue to post the days since ("Days Ago") count on my blog each day. The blog entry numbering in the title has changed to reflect total Sense of Doubt posts since I began the blog on 0705.04, which include Hey Mom posts, Daily Bowie posts, and Sense of Doubt posts. Hey Mom posts will still be numbered sequentially. New Hey Mom posts will use the same format as all the other Hey Mom posts; all other posts will feature this format seen here.
