Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #482 - A new friend for Halloween

Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #482 - A new friend for Halloween - A one Musical Monday

Hi Mom,

So after Liesel and I went up to Gloucester  or more accurately between Machester-by-the-Sea and Gloucester to Hammond Castle, seen to the left, we went back to Rowena's for dinner where I met Keith Brodie, and we had quite a conversation about consciousness, the meaning of life, the intention of spirit, and great music, such as the work of Brian Eno, David Sylvian, Robert Fripp, and many others.

When I find someone who has even heard of the band Japan, let alone likes them, I know I have found a kindred soul.

Our conversation was so intense that Liesel decided to take our picture as she felt I made such a great connection with this guy that she was "losing her husband" or some such as she shared in her Facebook post on the subject. I may never see Keith Brodie again in my life, but it was great to make a connection with a guy who shares a lot of my interests and beliefs. We got talking about quantum reality, driverless cars, and all sorts of things. It was quite fun. I can hold my own in man y conversations, but this one was tailored right to my main ideas. Keith had some great theories about wholeness and the cells of the body and the spirit, but I cannot remember them well enough to articulate them. I gave him my card and sent him a Facebook friend request as he promised me photos from when he did sound for different bands and has great stuff from the 1980s and 1990s.

I should mention that Rowena is an amazing photographer and printer of photography. We saw some of her own work in her apartment, which was gorgeous (both the work and the apartment), but she served for a long time as a printer for famous photographer Annie Liebowitz and had many signed Liebowitz prints that were just amazing.

Reflect and connect.

Have someone give you a kiss, and tell you that I love you.

I miss you so very much, Mom.

Talk to you tomorrow, Mom.

NOTE on time: When I post late, I had been posting at 7:10 a.m. because Google is on Pacific Time, and so this is really 10:10 EDT. However, it still shows up on the blog in Pacific time. So, I am going to start posting at 10:10 a.m. Pacific time, intending this to be 10:10 Eastern time. I know this only matters to me, and to you, Mom. But I am not going back and changing all the 7:10 a.m. times. But I will run this note for a while. Mom, you know that I am posting at 10:10 a.m. often because this is the time of your death.
