Hi Mom,
So, this post is delayed because after this day out at the Gorge and in Portland, we came home, I walked the dogs, and then my head started to feel "not right." So, I have been operating under the inFLUence of a touch of the flu for the last two days. I know, it's a lame pun.
We had a great day out. We were going to see a movie, but Liesel nixed that idea opting for sunshine (or at least sunlight) and not a dark theatre.
First stop, Rooster Rock Park. My picture does not capture the reflections quite as nicely as they looked in reality.
Next stop, Latourell Falls where I took a selfie.
River Gorge tour wrapped up at Vista House, which is an overlook high on a hill. Cool place and they had coffee.
We ate on 23rd Street at Nob Hill Bar and Grill. Adam and I both had the special: peanut butter, bacon burger. I know. It sounds weird. But it was tasty.
Then we went to Wailua Shave Ice shop for "shave" ice (no locals say "shaved").
That's all for content. Here's some photos.

Reflect and connect.
Have someone give you a kiss, and tell you that I love you, Mom.
I miss you so very much, Mom.
Talk to you tomorrow, Mom.

NEW (written 1708.27) NOTE on time: I am now in the same time zone as Google! So, when I post at 10:10 a.m. PDT to coincide with the time of your death, Mom, I am now actually posting late, so it's really 1:10 p.m. EDT. But I will continue to use the time stamp of 10:10 a.m. to remember the time of your death, Mom. I know this only matters to me, and to you, Mom.
