Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #1033 - Mount St. Helens trip 1805.03

Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #1033 - Mount St. Helens trip 1805.03

Hi Mom,

I know it's May the Fourth be with you day, but I would rather post my pictures from the trip I took yesterday with Liesel, Ivan, and his friends Will, Cam, and Zoe.

We drove to the northern side of Mt. St. Helens, stopping at the Visitor's Center and the Forestry Center with the outlook. We ended the day at Coldwater Lake, one of the two lakes formed by the 1980 eruption. I have some pictures of the water of Coldwater here, which is incredibly clear and beautiful.

I am not labeling all the photos, but I present them here because I know you like to see them, Mom, and it's a good document of the ongoing log of my life in this new and wonderful place.

One picture of Ellory; she liked it, too.

Ate lunch here. It's not marked on the map, but it was a diner and laundromat in Toutle across the street from the school.

Here's the area at Coldwater Lake where we went.

Reflect and connect.

Have someone give you a kiss, and tell you that I love you, Mom.

I miss you so very much, Mom.

Talk to you tomorrow, Mom.

NEW (written 1708.27) NOTE on time: I am now in the same time zone as Google! So, when I post at 10:10 a.m. PDT to coincide with the time of your death, Mom, I am now actually posting late, so it's really 1:10 p.m. EDT. But I will continue to use the time stamp of 10:10 a.m. to remember the time of your death, Mom. I know this only matters to me, and to you, Mom.
