A Sense of Doubt blog post #2354 - Favorite bits TALKING BACK against the GOPQ
I have been trying to manage my outrage again. There's more outrage coming in the next two blog posts.
With this one, I am mitigating and trying to let go of the outrage I feel at "Republicans" who seem to be acting more like defiant three-year-olds than elected members of the FEDERAL government!
But there's a shining ray of happiness and hope. There's good things happening, things that make me happy.
Here's a collection of videos of those happy moments.
One of my favorite happy moments, and the one that inspired this post, is the exchange between Dr. Anthony Fauci and Senator from Kentucky Rand Paul.
Paul is actually a physician, but you wouldn't know it from his exchange with the Fauci before the Senate Health Committee.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that Fauci accused Paul of lying and pointed at him emphatically.

These shameful Republicans find new ways to bring shame and hypocrisy to the supposed "grand old" party from which GOP stands for. Let's add a Q for Qanon, too, because even if they do not always espouse the same whacko conspiracies of that fringe group of madhatters, they do lie, deny, and defy.
The party of "personal responsibility" refuses to take any personal responsibility.
The party of "family values" is a joke as they react the government's handling of unaccompanied immigrant CHILDREN.

If not for FOX NEWS, which I only call "news" because it's part of the network's name, the rhetoric would not be nearly so rife with misinformation, which is just a nice way of saying LIES.

The party of "pro-life" is a joke. If they are pro-life, then why are they anti-vax and against taking the pandemic and virus seriously.
The party of law and order is a joke as they deny what really happened on January 6th, 2021 to curry favor with a base of voters and a twice impeached loser of a former president but they suddenly support law enforcement when it comes to "Blue Lives Matter" and political convenience.
