A Sense of Doubt blog post #2575 - REPRINT - Musical Monday from 2018 - "It becomes part of you"

A Sense of Doubt blog post #2575 - REPRINT - Musical Monday from 2018 - "It becomes part of you"

I love this image (above), still, four years later.

We're moving in less than a week. Starting Friday.

It's Monday in extreme low power mode.

So much work, so little time, so little self care.

Take care of yourselves but also take care of others. If we're all doing that care-taking then we should all be well.

For now, this beautiful music and these beautiful voices.

Blog Vacation Two 2022 - Vacation II Post #12
I took a "Blog Vacation" in 2021 from August 31st to October 14th. I did not stop posting daily; I just put the blog in a low power rotation and mostly kept it off social media. Like that vacation, for this second blog vacation now in 2022, I am alternating between reprints, shares with little to no commentary, and THAT ONE THING, which is an image from the folder with a few thoughts scribbled along with it. I am alternating these three modes as long as the vacation lasts (not sure how long), pre-publishing the posts, and not always pushing them to social media.

Here's the collected Blog Vacation I from 2021:

Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #938 - It becomes part of you - Musical Monday 1801.29

Hey, Mom! Talking to My Mother #938 - It becomes part of you - Musical Monday 1801.29

Hi Mom, Isn't this a great graphic (above)?

So, this post is just a collection of things I have been listening to this week. I have to say that I like the graphic here more than the music by Coccolino Deep. That's good stuff, but not amazing.

I am only one day behind on posting this entry, so I feel good about that output.

I have been trying new task switching techniques for work. Adding content here in this blog in between work tasks is one such tactic I am trying to preserve my sanity.

I include the Yasmin Hamdan site here because I discovered that she had an album last year that I missed. I tried to include the playlist to the album here, but it seems that You Tube may not be allowing embedding of playlists anymore. I am not sure. I have the first cut here, but then I am trying something new: I embedded the album from Amazon Music. I presume one has to have an Amazon Music subscription to listen to more than samples, but Amazon allows embedding, which surprised me. OH NO! It's samples just for me, too. Okay, I am going to leave the embedded player here as an experiment, but it's not really what I wanted to share.

Liesel and I started watching Star Trek: Discovery finally. It's really good. I feel better in balance with real life between work, taking time for Star Trek, and reading.

I am listening to Andy Weir's new book Artemis, which is narrated by Rosario Dawson. It's just as engaging and entertaining as The Martian.

So, I am going to publish with much more ado.

The Yasmine Hamdan stuff is very good. I have shared about the beauty of Slow Dancing Society before, but in finding Coccolino Deep, which is just okay, I was reminded of Caia, which is some of my favorite downtempo, chill, electronic music.

But it was this (below) line from Coccolino Deep that gave me my theme.

Happy Monday.

“Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow.”

- New note - On 1807.06, I ceased daily transmission of my Hey Mom feature after three years of daily conversations. I plan to continue Hey Mom posts at least twice per week but will continue to post the days since ("Days Ago") count on my blog each day. The blog entry numbering in the title has changed to reflect total Sense of Doubt posts since I began the blog on 0705.04, which include Hey Mom posts, Daily Bowie posts, and Sense of Doubt posts. Hey Mom posts will still be numbered sequentially. New Hey Mom posts will use the same format as all the other Hey Mom posts; all other posts will feature this format seen here.
