A Sense of Doubt blog post #2539 - Four Years of Detective Comics Read  #s 982 - 1046 - Comic Book Sunday 2201.30

This will be a short COMIC BOOK SUNDAY today. I have some other posts about comic books in the works, but those will have to wait.

I couldn't face working today. I took the whole day off. I needed a day off. I have not taken a day off completely since January 8th.

Last day of football before the Super Bowl.

I have what I call a BACK LOG with the comics I buy every month. One title that I stacked up in the back log was Detective Comics. The issues were going into a box with rest of the back log. Every month I would add more issues to the box and watch the back log for Detective Comics grow and grow.

Recently, I caught up on my Nightwing back log, which is sad, because I adore Nightwing.

I was determined to clear my Detective Comics back log of sixty-four issues, including issue #1000.

The oldest issue, #982, had a street date of June 13, 2018, so essentially four years ago.

I have two pictures above -- the fanned out photo and the stack photo.

That's a lot of comics, and I have finished with them all.

I also finished reading the Teen Titans YA books by Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo. These books are fantastic. Loved these!!

Happy Comic Book Sunday!!

- New note - On 1807.06, I ceased daily transmission of my Hey Mom feature after three years of daily conversations. I plan to continue Hey Mom posts at least twice per week but will continue to post the days since ("Days Ago") count on my blog each day. The blog entry numbering in the title has changed to reflect total Sense of Doubt posts since I began the blog on 0705.04, which include Hey Mom posts, Daily Bowie posts, and Sense of Doubt posts. Hey Mom posts will still be numbered sequentially. New Hey Mom posts will use the same format as all the other Hey Mom posts; all other posts will feature this format seen here.
