A Sense of Doubt blog post #1622 - AFROPUNK: OUR VOICE WILL BE HEARD!

A Sense of Doubt blog post #1622 - AFROPUNK: OUR VOICE WILL BE HEARD!

So here's a recent newsletter from AFROPUNK.

I have some original work in process but none of it is done yet. Not fully baked, which is a phrase that always makes me think of the movie The Graduate when Benjamin announces his intention to marry Elaine Robinson (who doesn't know and doesn't even like him), and his father says his plan is half-baked. Benjamin asserts that "no, it's completely baked."

That's my blog work right now, unlike Benjamin. It's not completely baked yet.

So a big share, and you have to follow links to get to the content, which I have done with a few and liked what I saw but no time now for commentary.

Leave me a comment.

As I apply for jobs, I tell prospective employers about this blog. Some have questioned the wisdom of doing so. My feeling is that the company I want to work for will respect my views, my passions, my interests and maybe even share them.

Plus, if I post this one now, I am only one day behind, which is today, Wednesday, as I am only posting this entry one day late.

Word.

- New note - On 1807.06, I ceased daily transmission of my Hey Mom feature after three years of daily conversations. I plan to continue Hey Mom posts at least twice per week but will continue to post the days since ("Days Ago") count on my blog each day. The blog entry numbering in the title has changed to reflect total Sense of Doubt posts since I began the blog on 0705.04, which include Hey Mom posts, Daily Bowie posts, and Sense of Doubt posts. Hey Mom posts will still be numbered sequentially. New Hey Mom posts will use the same format as all the other Hey Mom posts; all other posts will feature this format seen here.
