Hi Mom,

Today would have been your Sixtieth wedding anniversary with the big guy, my Dad, the Robert.

I don't feel like a thoughtful catch-all Throwback conversation post today. I am also a day late.

I wish you were still here with us, Mom. You would have loved celebrating a 60th anniversary.

This post celebrates life, mostly mine. I know you're happy for me, Mom. Thanks.

So, in Portland, on Belmont out by Cesar Chavez, there's Belmont Bites. There's a Hawaiian and Korean food truck - Namu.

But I got food at VIKING SOUL FOOD. I had a smoked salmon wrap and a pickled egg with dill cream and caviar!!

Reminder ... there's a street fair on Hawthorne later this month.
